The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 will feature a clean retro cruiser style, similar to the sub-bigger bikes produced by Harley. The front of the bike could have an opal LED headlamp, sporty wide handlebars, and an upright riding position for practical urban and long-distance courses. The motorcycle will also be expected to bring a premium yet classic Harley-Davidson image from a muscular teardrop-shaped fuel tank, smooth motorcycle body panels, and metal-finished elements.

In Term of tyre profile, it is expected to feature an 18-inch front wheel with a 100/90-18 tyre and a 17-inch rear wheel with a wider 140/70-17 tyre. This setup is likely to offer a balanced mix of comfort, highway stability, and easy handling, while also enhancing the bike’s classic long-and-low cruiser stance.

The new Harley Davidson Sprint 440 is rumored to feature the same air/oil-cooled 440cc single-cylinder engine found on the new Harley Davidson X440. This engine produces around 27 bhp of power and 38 Nm of torque and comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The motor is recognized for its substantial low-end torque and a smoother city driving experience, making it ideal for the cruiser appearance of the Sprint 440.

In terms of features, the new Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 would offer a balance of innovative technology with signature Harley cruiser design. The new Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 will include full LED lighting for the headlamp, tail lamp, and indicators, as well as a fully digital instrument cluster that may be compatible with Bluetooth apps for call alerts, navigation, and smartphone pairing. Harley-Davidson will also likely provide more practical features, such as USB charging and multiple ride-related pieces of information on the screen.

As far as the hardware and safety aspects are concerned, the Sprint 440 would feature ballast-type alloy wheels with tubeless tires at the front and back on high-specification models only, dual-channel ABS, and disc brakes at the front and rear. The motorcycle could also have a cruiser-suspension setup, with better highway compliance, a comfortable wide seat, and relaxed ergonomics.

The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 is expected to achieve a fuel efficiency of 30-35 km/L, but it is fully dependent on your riding pattern. The mileage of this bike is almost identical to the one used in the current Harley-Davidson X440, so its fuel consumption won’t be significantly better.

International Harley-Davidson quotes the price tag at approximately $6,000, or around ₹5 lakhs, excluding taxes. But the pricing in India for the motorcycle is likely to be low because it’s likely to be manufactured in India by the venture Hero MotoCorp and expected to launch by the end of 2026.

It’s expected that the new Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 will compete with the more popular retro and cruiser-styled bikes such as the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350, Triumph Speed 400, and Harley-Davidson X440.
