The Tata Nexon has entered the market with a new variant, “Pure+ PS,” and has now achieved a panoramic sunroof with its entry ex-showroom price of ₹9.59 lakh. Announcing this update, the Nexon has become one of the cheapest SUVs available in India with the panoramic sunroof for the sub-₹10 lakh segment.

The new variant is sandwiched in between the Pure+ S trim and Creative and is offered with petrol, diesel, and iCNG powertrain choices. In addition to the panoramic sunroof, the car also comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display, high-end interior finishings, wireless connectivity amenities, and Tata’s all-new connected car technology.
The mechanical variants of the Nexon are unchanged with the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines. The SUV comes equipped with the same safety activations, such as six airbags and ESC, and has been rated as Tata’s fifth-star safety car.
The packaging is premium while still capturing attention.
It remains true to say the Tata Nexon’s styling is bold and futuristic and remains one of the standout points in the compact SUV segment. The SUV’s headlights are sharp LEDs, and the bumper boasts a muscular design and gives the entire vehicle a strong road presence. The Nexon has also received an infusion of stylish updates, such as connected lighting accents and sporty body clips, giving it a premium feel all around.
The Nexon’s sidelight details give the vehicle a coupe-inspired style, with cooly toned paintwork to add to its overall sporty styling. The SUV is available on interesting wheel alloys, which accentuate its high-quality appearance, depending on the variant. For the tires, Tata provides options up to 215/60 R16, offering a perfect balance of comfort, grip, and highway performance, along with enhancing the SUV’s muscularity.
The LED taillamps and the sleek tailgate of the Nexon at the back reflect contemporary and elegant styling. Raised ground clearance, chunky wheel arches, and SUV proportions make for a tough-as-nails, yet urban-friendly look. In all, the styling of the Nexon is sporty, and yet the choice of fit and finish is very good, and the car continues to be one of the most attention-grabbing compact SUVs in India.
Feature-Loaded Cabin
The Tata Nexon features modern, upscale styling and an interior that is all the more upscale compared to previous models. The dashboard is soft, sleek, and open in design, enhancing the overall future-looking aesthetic and the cabin experience due to the use of curved lighting and soft-touch materials and restraint, as well as gloss black elements.

Here is one of the best features, a massive 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system with built-in Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functions for a seamless and intuitive driving experience. The SUV’s instrument cluster, which is fully digital, also features navigation, driving information, music information, and vehicle alarms displayed in a crisp and modern format in a 10.25-inch display.
The Nexon also has comfort and convenience equipment to die for. The front seats have ventilation, the SUV offers a 9-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer for immersive sound, rear AC vents, a connected car, and automatic climate control.
Tata has added front center armrest storage, adjustable rear headrests, large rear seating, and lots of charging docks for extra day-to-day utility. The panoramic sunroof also adds to the luxurious and airy interiorscape, making the Nexon one of the most advanced compact SUVs in its class.
Safety has continued to be a great strength.

Safety has always been one of the significant features of the model of the Tata Nexon, and the SUV is perfectly continuing the reputation of being one of India’s safest compact SUVs. Tata Motors has ensured high build quality and passenger safety in the Nexon, which has been given a 5-star rating. It is built using strong body construction, which, along with state-of-the-art safety features, provides extra assurance in the city and on the highway.

At the time of writing, the SUV is kitted out with some great safety features such as 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, traction control, a rear parking camera, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
