Royal Enfield has finally taken the wraps off the much-awaited 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650, and for enthusiasts of retro motorcycles, this is easily one of the biggest launches of the year. Revealed on 28 May 2026, the new Bullet 650 brings together the timeless charm of the legendary Bullet with the proven power of Royal Enfield’s 650cc twin-cylinder platform.

The 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is powered by a Inline twin cylinder, 4 stroke, SHOC, 647.95cc engine, that delivers 47 ps of power at 7250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5650 rpm, mated with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch that offer improved engine response, ultra-smooth acceleration, and rock-solid low-end torque.
The electronics-based fuel injection feature gives the Bullet 650 greater responsiveness and efficiency of the throttle, and the twin-cylinder configuration results in vastly reduced vibration levels than the older Single-cylinder Bullet models.

It carries out the same DNA of the Bullet while offering bold road presence and a stronger premium feel. Its iconic teardrop-shaped fuel tank with pinstripe detailing, a pinstripe tiger-eye LED headlamp with chrome surround, and extended twin peashooter exhausts complete its authentic retro styling.

The bike also features a bench style seat, upright riding position and a wide handlebar for comfortable long-distance riding. The chunky front telescopic forks, twin rear shock absorbers and potent-wide-front design make for an imposing road statement. It’s a straightforward analogue instrument cluster with a small digital screen at the heart, keeping the look and feel very simple and classic, the things that Bullet lovers always appreciated.

Dimensionally, 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 has a length of 2260 mm, width of 830 mm and height of 1155 mm, giving a strong and commanding effect on the road. It boasts a wheelbase of 1480 mm which helps in offering the stability while cruising on highways, while 154 mm ground clearance makes the robust version suitable for Indian road conditions.
This seat height is adjustable to 800 mm for the comfortable riding position for a large variety of riders. The bike has a kerb weight of 243 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 14.8 litre, offering a wholesome touring experience with a planted ride on the roads.

As for the design, the 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 delivers a retro appearance with modern braking systems features like aluminium rims and chrome hubs, and a dual-channel brake system.
In the front, it is equipped with a 320 mm hydraulic disc brake with a twin-piston floating caliper to enhance braking capability and offer greater control across various road surfaces, whereas the rear requires a 300 mm hydraulic disc brake to impart enhanced braking capability and control on different surfaces of the road.
The front tyre is a 100/90-R19, while the rear tyre is slightly bigger with 140/70-R18 profile, providing a nice comfort balance of stability and grip.

A 12 V system with a 12 V, 12 Ah battery is used for the electrical connection system. The bike provides a modern LED head lamp as well as LED tail lamp and turn indicators of 12V, 10W. Apart from this, the Royal Enfield 650 bullet features a USB Type-C charging outlet, adding to its usability for any long journeys or everyday commuting.

The 2026 Royal Enfield Bullet 650 comes in two colour options across its price range of ₹3,64,856 (ex-showroom) including Cannon Black and Battleship Blue. The price puts the bike somewhat into the centre range of the 650cc line-up offered by Royal Enfield, which has a reputation for the power of the twin-cylinder engines and the appealing styling of the Bullet.
In real-world use, the new Royal Enfield Bullet 650 is predicted to achieve a 25-30 kmpl range, contingent on various factors such as riding dynamics and conditions. Its same 648cc parallel twin engine is the same as that of other Royal Enfield 650s, so should deliver very similar fuel efficiency.
