Yamaha unveils the all-new Aerox-E, a premium electric scooter featuring the brand’s sporty DNA and modern electric mobility. Inspired by the Aerox 155 model, the Aerox-E looks similarly aggressive and adds an extreme electric drive, dual removable batteries, and a whole host of smart features. Designed for riders who want performance without compromising practicality, the scooter promises an exciting riding experience for urban commuters as well as enthusiasts looking for something different in the electric scooter segment.
One of the standout highlights of the Yamaha Aerox-E is its electric drivetrain, which is equipped with a PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) that delivers 9.4 kW of power along with 48 Nm of torque. The scooter’s much faster, with a range of 95.5 km/h top speed, making it one of the fastest in its class of premium electric scooters. Depending on the riding conditions, Aerox-E features ECO, Standard, and Power riding modes to tailor the performance of the scooter.
The Aerox-E is powered by a dual removable battery system, delivering 1.5 kWh of power with each battery. The scooter offers a range as certified by IDC of 117 km, which is suitable for regular commuting and weekly riding. Using the dedicated battery dock charger, a single battery can be charged in 3 hours and 10 minutes, while both batteries can be fully charged in 6 hours and 10 minutes. Batteries are easily taken out and replaced to conveniently recharge at home or at work, without having to park at the charging station.


Yamaha’s hallmark sporty design elements are continued with the bold road presence of the Yamaha Aerox-E’s X-shaped design elements. Sleek LED headlamps and premium aesthetics of the aerodynamic body panels and muscular shape add to the design’s sense of sleekness. The design features sleek LED headlights and aerodynamic body panels, which accentuate its premium styling.
