Hyundai Bayon Safety Features: Strong Body Structure

One of the key features of the Hyundai Bayon is its safety. Hyundai said that , Bayon is based on the Global K enhanced platform and has been designed to uphold all 5-star India safety ratings. However, this statement should not be confused with an independently awarded five-star crash-test rating.

69% of the Bayon’s body structure is made of advanced multi-grade high-strength steel, such as hot-stamped body structure parts, ultra-high-strength steel and advanced high-strength steel. According to Hyundai, it applied multiple load paths, a ring-type structure and double-box design in its structure to help spread impact forces and limit the degree of intrusion if it’s involved in collision.
Hot-stamped components are used in important areas such as the front apron, dashboard, rear floor and side reinforcements. These structural measures are designed to improve occupant protection in different crash situations.

The ADAS function could also rely on road conditions and vehicle speed depending on the specific ADAS system.
Parking and Reversing Assistance
The Bayon also is equipped with technology that enhances visibility, and makes parking more convenient. It features a Surround View Monitor that is capable of showing a view around the driver’s vehicle, and a Blind-spot View Monitor which helps the driver see the area around car where the driver may not see with a conventional mirror.
