Royal Enfield’s first dedicated electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, is expected to be a stylish urban EV with a lightweight retro-inspired design. It is likely to come with a battery pack of around 4 kWh to 6 kWh, offering an expected riding range of 120 km to 180 km on a single charge. The electric motor is expected to deliver performance similar to a 125cc–150cc petrol bike, making it ideal for city rides. 2. KTM E-Duke
Expected Launch: February 2027 | Estimated Price: ₹ 2.0 –2.5 Lakh
One of the most eagerly awaited upcoming electric bikes in India is the KTM E-Duke. It will inherit the bold and aggressive design language of the Duke with an electrified twist. Targeted primarily at young riders and city commuters, the E-Duke can be expected to provide sporty performance in this segment.
In terms of engine setup, the KTM E-Duke will be powered by an electric motor instead of a petrol engine. Expected to produce around 10 to 15 kW of power (approximately 13 to 20 bhp). On a full charge, the bike is expected to deliver a riding range of 120 to 150 km, making it suitable for daily city use and short highway rides.
3. Yamaha AEROX-E

Yamaha AEROX-E is a high-end electric maxi-scooter that is all set to be introduced into India as Yamaha’s top-quality EV. Based on the aggressive AEROX sports model, it will likely be equipped with 2 removable battery packs of about 1.5 kWh each (totaling to about 3 kWh) and is claimed to have a range of up to around 106 km on a single charge, which is perfect for both city commuting and weekend rides.
The AEROX-E is powered by a 9.4 kW electric motor generating approximately 48 Nm and thus provides powerful acceleration and best-in-class performance. With high-level tech specs, including multi-stage riding modes, bluetooth connectivity , making it one of the best in class.
4. Ultraviolet Tesseract (2026)
Expected Launch: Mar 2026 | Estimated Price: ₹1.45 Lakh

Ultraviolette Tesseract is going to launch its first electric maxi-scooter named Tesseract, probably in 2026 across the country, impacting high performance with modern tech and long-range capability. Intended for urban and intercity commuting, the Tesseract is equipped with multiple battery options, such as 3.5 kWh, 5 kWh, and 6 kWh packs, that provide a claimed range of 162 km to 261 km on a full charge depending on the model.
With a powerful electric motor (14.9 kW / 20.1 BHP), it throws in brisk performance and can achieve a top speed of up to 125 km/h, while features like the TFT display, connectivity and safety systems, and the Tesseract set a new benchmark for performance-oriented electric two-wheelers.
5. Simple Ultra
Expected Launch: May 2026 | Estimated Price: ₹2.10 Lakh

Simple Ultra is an upcoming flagship electric scooter from Simple Energy that will be launching in India in mid-2026 (Estimated price ₹2.00–₹2.20 lakh ex-showroom). It is best known for its humongous 6.5 kWh battery pack, amongst the largest of any electric scooter, with a claimed IDC range of up to 400 km on a full charge. The Ultra combines long range with strong performance, offering a top speed of about 115 km/h, perfect for everyday commuting or longer trips between less frequent charging.
6. BSA Electric Bike
Expected Launch: Jun 2026 | Estimated Price: ₹2.50 Lakh

The BSA Electric Bike is one of the premium electric bikes that we expect to be launched in India in 2026. It is expected to have a modern-retro design and aim for those who prefer classic-looking motorcycles but with EV technology.
Its battery pack is expected to have a capacity of 4 kWh to 6 kWh, and the range can be calculated at approximately 120 km to 180 km on a full charge as per market assumptions. The electric motor is also supposed to have been tuned to serve comfortable commutes across city limits as well as on highways. The price could be around ₹2.00 lakh – ₹2.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
7. Ather EL01
Expected Launch: Jun 2026 | Estimated Price: ₹99,000

The Ather EL01 is an entry-level electric scooter from Ather energy which will be positioned for everyday commuting. Built on Ather’s new modular EL platform, the EL01 is anticipated to feature a scalable lithium-ion battery pack of 2 kWh to 5 kWh that promises to cover up to an estimated 120 km before needing another charge.
Its electric motor and lightweight are intended for quick response performance with smart features and fast charging capability, as a step down from Ather’s existing 450 and Rizta models.
8. Ola Cruiser

The Ola Cruiser is an upcoming long-range, fully faired premium electric motorcycle that promises comfortable highway and off-road touring with a commanding cruiser look. Initial reports suggest that the scooter is expected to come with a battery pack in the range of 2.2 kWh to 3.1 kWh and offer an estimated riding range of 80-120km on a single charge, which should be well-suited for daily city commuting. The Burgman Electric is expected to go toe-to-toe with the TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.
10. Gogoro 2 Series (Expected Entry)

The Gogoro 2 Series is a premium electric scooter to be priced around 2026 in India. Endowed with a high-performance 7 kW electric motor, which could offer an estimated range of approximately 170 km on a single charge, the scooter gets an additional swappable battery option that allows riders to cover longer distances, making it suitable for daily long rides as well.
