Kawasaki Z900 & Z650 S Get 3 New Colours for 2027

The 2027 version of the popular Z Range is getting new colours. The three new colour combinations for the Kawasaki Z900 and its Z650 stable mate were added to the line, with another new colour mix for the Z900 SE, a top-spec variant. One of the major feature points to this update is that there are no changes in engine, mechanical setup.. Kawasaki has mainly concentrated on rejuvenating and presenting its supernaked motorcycles in a new and appealing look for the coming model year.

Kawasaki Z900

The 2027 model of the Kawasaki Z900 is hitting the international market in three new colours. These are available in Ebony / Metallic Carbon Gray, Candy Persimmon Red / Metallic Carbon Gray and Pearl Blizzard White / Plasma Lime Green / Ebony.  Among these, the Pearl Blizzard White, Plasma Lime Green and Ebony combination stands out the most. The white bodywork and combination of green and black express a sporty and aggressive look, adding a further streetfighter vibe to the Z900.

For the 2027 model Kawasaki have also freshened up the Z650 S with three new colour combinations. The colours come in Ebony / Metallic Carbon Gray, Candy Persimmon Red / Metallic Carbon Gray and Pearl Blizzard White / Ebony / Candy Lime Green Type 3. The new shades also come with the aggressive streetfighter styling of the motorcycle offering a fresher look.  Built on the Z650 platform and with styling cues borrowed from the even larger Z900, the Z650 S also boasts a wider handlebar and updated ergonomics to make it an even more fun street machine to ride.

Kawasaki Z900 SE

For 2027, the Z900 SE (the higher specification variant of the standard Z900) has also been offered with its own distinct all-new colour scheme including Metallic Matte Gray / Metallic Matte Carbon Gray / Golden Blazed Green. The green highlights and gold details add more opulent and unique touches to the Z900 SE compared to the Z900. Apart from this, the Z900 SE also comes with upgraded hardware, including Brembo front brakes and Öhlins rear suspension, making it the more premium offering in the Z900 lineup.

Apart from the new colour options, there are no major mechanical changes for the 2027 models. The Kawasaki Z900 retains its 948cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four-cylinder engine and continues to offer features such as a quick shifter, electronic cruise control, traction control, selectable power modes and IMU-based rider assistance systems. This means that Kawasaki has focused mainly on updating the look of its existing performance package rather than making major changes to the motorcycle’s mechanical setup.

Kawasaki has so far revealed these new colour options for overseas markets in 2027.The company hasn’t announced yet the timeline of these new colours for India. The Z900 is available in India while Z650 S and Z900 SE are not currently sold in the middle eastern subcontinent. So, Indian customers are yet to see availability of these new colours as it has not been announced officially by Kawasaki India.

As a whole, the most significant change on the 2027 Kawasaki Z900 / Z650 S is the new colours. The Pearl Blizzard White, Lime Green and Ebony combination looks in particular sports and distinctive to the motorcycles. These new hues bring the Kawasaki Z900 a new look in a streetfighter already known for its tough ways. But, it’s yet unclear when these new coloured variants will roll out to India and which of these are being planned in India.
