The question on everyone’s mind however remains, Is the new Baleno better than the old one, will these updates give it a further boost of sales in the premium hatchback realm? So, let’s dive into the details of what makes the new Maruti Baleno 2026 special and why you should consider purchasing it.

Design, Styling and Key Features

The overall design of the Maruti Baleno 2026 has taken a new turn with its widened Signature NEXWave Grille that comes with 3D detailing and chrome trims. A premium feel is complemented by the sculpted bumper and Fender Chrome Garnish, whilst a distinctive look comes from the LED Projector Headlamps and NEXTré LED DRLs. NEXA Signature LED tail lamps at the back maintain the same theme. The Shark Fin Antenna also enhances the visual appeal and further contributes towards lowering air drag as well as wind noise.

The colour scheme is still the same but with a new twist to the concept in the new Maruti Baleno 2026. The most important one is the launch of the new and truly exotic-sounding Enigmatic Teal Green, which will lend the hatchback that extra touch of expression and road presence that is true to the premium new models. Meanwhile, the popular blue-and-reds, opulent Red, Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Grandeur Grey and Bluish Black are still available. The most prominent difference between the previous Baleno’s Luxe Beige topic and the current Enigmatic Teal Green is that whilst the colour is new, it does not make a drastic deviation from the previous colour continuum.
